"Hi! I'm Sooah (Irene) Park and I'm the founder of SEI. I founded SEI because I moved around frequently as a child, and quickly noticed the inconsistencies in American sex ed. I also believed in sex ed to teach core concepts of respect and basic information about our bodies and health. I continue this work to this day in college, expanding into different communities. With SEI, I loved meeting different advocates and bonding over shared experiences! My favorite memories with SEI have been attending different conferences, such as with Nancy Pelosi and NOW. Though I'm no longer active with SEI because I believe in youth-led activism, I believe it has been a strong foundation for my current advocacy work in reproductive health and education."
